Red Bullseye

Red Bullseye is Done Done. This photo is before washing. I tossed it in the washer this morning and it is getting fuzzy! However, you couldn't tell any difference in the photos! I just did utility grid quilting on this one and it really went fast. Thank you again, Jeanne, for such a fun project idea! Now I want to make another one! I'm off in a couple of hours to work on our raffle quilt with my mini-group. Have a great Thursday.

Great bullseye! It looks hard, is it? WOW, I can actually leave a comment on your blog for a change! Sounds like retirement is tiring but fun. Have a great holiday weekend.

Love, Love, Love the red bullseye. I must try a one-color bullseye sometime soon. And I love your calendar quilt. I just started two as a surprise for my cousins. Yours is an inspiration to keep it up. Thanks.

Love your RED bullseye!! My bee exchanged bull's eye blocks for about a year. Great fun! I still need to put mine together, thanks for the inspiration.

As I looked back through your blog I fell in love with the idea of a strip a day for a year and turning that into a quilt. What a wonderful calendar idea.... the days that one falls into a rut, some plain jane strip, the holidays -- well look out! What size are the strips? They look like different widths but a standard length... Are you marking the date somehow on each strip or by month or not at all?? Please email me and let me know (or create another post on your blog about this) as I'd really like to explore this idea further as a project with a group I'm part of.

Your bullseye looks wonderful in reds!! I made mine using some pretty wild fabric, but once its done it's hard to tell. I think it's a great way to use up some fabrics that aren't our favorites. Mine was utility quilted with perle cotton, and it was fun to quilt.

I love the idea of organizing this quilt by color.

Wow, I love how the eye catches the diamonds AND the circles at the same time! This looks great in all reds.

Cheers!
