A Bit of Sewing, Too

Had to put this photo in separately from my first post this morning as Blogger was being stingy. Picasa played nice though! This is Block 7 of the Birds of a Feather, the KC Star BOM from Blackbird Designs. I am enjoying this monthly block. So-o-o curious as to how they will show these blocks set. Posted by Picasa

Kazowie, that is quite a reorganization project from the sounds of it. Lovely to sift through all that fabric collection, though. Your Block 7 is sublime. I keep saying this wherever I go but I do LOVE the BOAF. Just can't wait to follow it to its conclusion.

Beautiful block! Nice going! You and the other organizers make me want to dig into my stuff and clean up! Hopefully when I get home.

looks like you are really have a successful time with your stash and your quilting - so good to have that balance between cleaning and organizning and creating

Lovely block! I've found that there are certain times of the day, and certain days, where it is practically impossible to get anything uploaded by blogger, but other times, it's so fast it takes me by surprise.

I never have any problem uploading things after 1 am, central time... :D

The block looks great - is the little diamonds down the right side a difficult border to do? They all look nice and straight and pointy in your picture.

I just love the blocks you are showing for the Birds of a Feather series! Do you know of a shop where the patterns can be ordered? Thanks! Tara

Oh it is a wonderful block, but all the blocks you have made for this quilt have been great! I'm anxious to see it too!

I'll be "monitoring" your reorganization project and this is something I need to do too. I love your BOAF block - such a pretty quilt.
