Fiesta (And a Little Jadite Too!)

I had mentioned several posts back that I would post some pictures of my Fiestaware and kept forgetting to do that! This is not the entire collection but is a good representative. I also have "a thing" for Jadite--lots more of it around here too. I have had "a thing" for 30s and 40s dishes for about 30 years and used to be very compulsive about collecting it. Many a weekend was spent scouring flea markets, antique malls, and want ads. Fortunately, my husband has always been a good sport about my various obsessions!!!
Rocky--ever the ham--couldn't resist a Monday morning photo-op.

Love all that jadite, don't think that I have ever seen that much in one place before- I'm drooling.

OMG!! I am sooo jealous!!! I collect too and I also use the new stuff for my everyday, but you have 3 times more than me. I love it. Maybe I'll post some pictures of mine too.

I can see why the colors in your quilt are much like your fiesta and jadite! How wonderful--the scouring the flea markets paid off well through the years. These colors have always appealed to me along with the 30's repros.

What an outstanding collection. I love collecting (and using) old bowls. They fascinate me - I will watch episodes of The Waltons just to watch Grandma W stirring up something in a bowl *s*

Fabulous collection! But I think I just ruined my keyboard from drooling all over it!

That's an impressive collection, Lady! Doesn't it just make you smile to see all that color? Sorta like my stash does for me.

I will someday have fiesta ware for my dinner dishes. I can't justify spending more money for it now. I wish I'd started collecting years ago. Before the Antiques Road show made everything so expensive.

Hi Vera, thanks for sharing all your lovelies with us! That's some collection, and your Fiesta wall hanging is perfect with them. Neat that Rocky wants into the action...LOL
Love your gifty stuff, the soaps and crocheted and appliqued gifts are delightful! Hugs, Finn
