Here's MY Luck!

Well, here's the good news: I did get my name drawn as a BOM winner at guild this morning---YAY! Here's the not-so-good news: the new BOM chairperson decided each winner would only get 4 blocks!!! Oh, well, four is better than zero, right? Besides, they are so quick and easy to make and I certainly have plenty of greens, creams, and browns in my stash to make plenty more. I do want to make more for a border or for setting blocks, whatever. Our speaker was wonderful this morning. She brought a gazillion antique quilts from her personal collection. They dated from 1853 to the present. Many had been loved but were still wonderful. It is so fun to see all the fabrics represented throughout the past century and a half.

Vera, she probably was just planning for more winners then? But congrats on the ones you got!

Add some log cabin blocks and you have a Cabin In the Woods quilt! It is always fun to win - even if it is only four blocks.

congrats on winning. 4 does seem like a pretty small number in terms of being useful for much though...

it's always fun to win! Enjoy the little trees!

4 blocks?? Maybe she's into miniature quilts and thought that was enough. They're nice blocks; it'll be interesting to see how you use them.

mmm four blocks does just seem a little mean - still you could do as Bonnie suggests and o some log cabins and maybe a schoolhouse too

Congrats on your win. I guess if each person gets four blocks, then there can be more winners.

Wow!! So glad you won!! And it such a nice and useable block. Could go almost anywhere *VBS*

Sorry about only getting 4 tho...that doesn't quite seem fair. Seems like it should change prior to a "drawing for them" day...but you're right...4 is better than 0..*S* Hugs, Finn

Well, those 4 little trees would make a great start to a Christmas wall hanging. All you have to do is put them together, & decorate them!
