I'll Show You Mine...

and you show me yours---Work Wall, that is. Here are some ongoing projects up against the wall. The 12 Days of Christmas blocks are sewn together. I ended up using 7 of Cheri Saffiote-Payne's blocks and improvised on the other 5. Had to throw in a few prim stars (just to make it all Christmasy, you know). The little doll quilt I'm calling Heart, Heart, Star (remember Duck, Duck, Goose from the playground?) I had lots of chunks of the 30s fabric that weren't big enough for much, but just right for cutting some applique shapes. I wanted a muted, washed out looking doll quilt just like a 30s mom might have made from old aprons, housedresses, and workshirts. Just fun.

The jam jars are from a new project started on Pat Sloan's yahoo group called Farmers Market. Can't wait to see the next block! Pat is such a generous designer and I love her whimsy!

I sure hope you'll show me yours. Work Wall, that is!

Love all of your projects. No work wall here - more like a pile in this spot and a pile in that spot. Too many irons in the fire *s*

Love your work wall and the projects. I'd be happy to share my work wall but I don't have one :-( Like, Libby, I have a pile in this spot and a pile in that spot and sometimes I lose a pile. LOL

A friend just sent email asking if I was going to make the Farmer's Market quilt--I'm tempted. Your Jam Jars are adorable!

My design wall is currently bare ... but I plan to spend some time in my sewing space this weekend, so that could change and I'll be sure to post a photo when it's filled up again :-)

Your christmas quilt is looking great. My wall is blank right now because I cleaned up the room before we go on vacation but in August, it should be busting out!

Those are such cute projects. I have a miniscule work wall, in keeping with my miniscule home (5th wheel), but I will be taking pics later today of the current AmHero quilt, and I'll get a snap of the design wall while I'm at it. Check tomorrow.

Your 12 Days turned out darling! I am doing some of Cheri's blocks, but it hasn't turned into anything yet.

I wish I could show you a work wall, but since I moved in this condo, it's the middle of the living room floor. Of course, the dog loves when I'm crawling around down there with her! LOL. You have great projects up there! Really great!

I would love to show you my work wall--if I had one! I use the floor as my design wall--I guess I have a work floor! *LOL* Your projects look great up there!

OK, I'll post what's on the wall. I put my UFO's up there to "season", I get the best finishing ideas when they're vertical. You're wall is full of lovely treasures in the making.

I have not got a work wall, as I am sewing in the corner of my living room, but I enjoyed looking at yours :-)

Great projects! The quilt rows that I posted a few days ago are still on the wall. No progress here.
